LEVER will be present at KM Europe 2001 Following last
year's success, the LEVER project will participate as an exhibitor
in KM Europe 2001.
KM Europe 2001, the Europe's largest knowledge event, brings
under one roof the leading experts in knowledge management and the
top KM providers and practitioners.
This year's event will be held in The Hague, 27-29 November 2001.
Software companies operate in a highly competitive and dynamic business environment. On their quest for long-term competitiveness,
knowledge management emerges as the tool par excellence.
Increasingly, software companies acknowledge the ability to share, re-use and integrate knowledge units as a core requirement for
improving the cost-effectiveness, re-usability and interoperability of their products.
The intention of LEVER project is to provide the software companies with a holistic industry-specific KM solution, which will help them:
capture and re-use explicit knowledge through the creation of knowledge repositories
create knowledge "brokering mechanisms" between knowledge providers and knowledge recipients in the organizational structure
codify corporate tacit knowledge, including employees hands-on skills and special know-how.
