DEBUS Information technology is a Czech limited liability company (s.r.o.) founded in 1997 in Olomouc, the Czech Republic. Being a BAAN Development Partner, the company is working together with Baan Development in The Netherlands at product development (Baan ERP) according to the Baan Development Methodologies. Main activities in product development are: design and realization of new modules in Baan IV and Baan V; and the realization of in fact brand new solutions embedded in the Baan. Next to the core product development the Debus developers are involved in the developing interfaces (bridges between two software packages), designing localizations, making customizations, monitoring development projects, and development support. In Implementing areas, Debus ERP Consultants are monitoring and assisting implementing teams.

With support of a large Development & Education, the company started in 1997 to undertake BAAN Integrations, Customizations, Localizations, and BAAN Consultancy throughout Eastern Europe. In this way a reputation has been built, of being capable to solve the problems encountered by reselling partners and customers in their implementation and development work. Not loosing the focus of the ERP- product development, continuously designers are working at new modules in BAAN. By 1999 a leading position has been reached in the Eastern and South European BAAN development market, including a tight cooperation with the Baan Localization Center Eastern Europe. ORACLE Development and the status of ORACLE Develoment partner was introduced in 1999.

Due to the status as the Branded Logo Partner of BAAN EDUCATION for Central & Eastern Europe, the whole range of BAAN Trainings are provided by the team of the DEBUS Training Center, in the Russian, English and Czech language, as well as project consultancy jobs in nearly all lines of business.

Debus is providing BAAN Customizations and Product Development in the whole Eastern European region. By participating in designing the BaanERP Software itself, and producing several localizations, Debus has become the leading company in Eastern Europe when it comes to Baan Development. With an aim at performing product development at the highest level.

For years now, all Baan Training in Eastern Europe is provided by Debus Education & Consultancy. The trainings may consist of courses following Baan Education curricula, BAAN Development courses, and courses prepared on the base of customer specific requests. For Industry Solutions and Baan Sales, instructors are flown in from the UK and the Netherlands.

Being the only BAAN Education representation in Eastern Europe, the Training Center has put tremendous effort in supporting the local Reselling Partners with the newest Baan Education products, with the Baan training standards, and with translation of the Baan course materials to the Russian language. Organization of the trainings is done on behalf and in tight cooperation with Baan Education and Baan Knowledgeware

Jan Kovar. Mr. Jan Kovar works with DEBUS IT since 1997 as a Software engineer and Consultant. He is also a Trainer and Developer of Baan ERP system. He has worked in the following projects: BAAN Manufacturing - Euro conversion and compliency (design and testing), BAAN ERP Grieg Manufacturing (design, realisation and testing ). He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Palacky University in Olomouc with a specialization in Software Engineering, while his diploma work was in Communication in Distributed Systems.

Richard Hamrik. Mr. Richard Hamrik works with Debus IT as a software engineer and analyst. He has worked as a software designer and developer of Baan - - Sfi Integration Project and participated in the Logistic Servicing Providers project for SysAid in the Netherlands. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Palacky University in Computer science, while his diploma work was in a Generator of Syntactic and Lexical Analyzers.
