In 1993, MDA started off as an Application Marketing Associate of IBM providing high quality solutions to customer problems. MDA is also engaged in business arrangements as the IBM RISC 6000 Solution Partner, IBM Network Systems Solution Partners, IBM Software Development Partner, ORACLE Business Alliance Member, and Progress Solution Partner. Often a packaged or off-the- shelf modules that make up a system do not provide the necessary functionality required. In such cases, MDA will develop the application programs needed for the required functions. For example developing accounting, finance, and inventory control applications running on a relational DBMS, or in conjunction with a health system is being realized by MDA.
MDA specializes in DBMS Application Development in different business areas. In this respect we are also involved in the development of application systems by using the manufacturer's native tool set such as Developer 2000. MDA also provides consultancy services in the areas of software engineering environments, object oriented design and development, and object oriented database management systems, management information systems, software engineering process models and software engineering standards. MDA currently employs 35 professional people.
MDA Turn-key Projects: MOE Industrial Schools Project: This project involves the sale, installation and training of PCs for 77 Industrial schools throughout the Country. Gima Automation Project: It is concerned with the countryside automation of the Gima Stores Chain. Ibni Sina Hospital Automation: This project has recently been started with the automation of the Cardiology Department of the Hospital. Mining Department of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources: It is concerned with the implementation of the database regarding mining areas and permits. Ankara University Information System Project: This project is concerned with the delivery and installation of academic and administrative servers by IBM, and MDA will provide the design development and training services for several key database applications for administrative functions. Distance Learning Centre: MDA provided hardware and software solution for the management of registration and acceptance process and other administration service support functions of the Ministry of Education, Distance Learning Centre. TSE Gebze Campus: This project involves the installation of cabling and networking equipment and management software. Capa Hospital Information System Modeling: In this Information System Analysis and Design project, MDA employed and object oriented approach to design the system for the management of the hospital functions.

Aral Ege: 53 years old. Dr. Ege has Ph.D in Operations Research., and M.Sc. in Computer Science degrees from the Syracuse University (USA) , MSc. and BSc. degrees in Industrial Engineering from the Middle East Technical University (Turkey). He has over 10 years of industrial research and development experience on computer hardware and software systems. His expertise include software engineering environments, object oriented design and development, object oriented data base management systems, database machines, parallel processing, associative array processors, semantic networks, and real-time systems.
Onat Takak: 32 years old, Degree in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University of Ankara (Turkey), Past activities include involvement in computer application projects with various Turkish enterprises, research at the TUBITAK, METU Software Research and Development Center and research assistant at the Bilkent University. Currently, General Manager of the MDA Corporation Company.
Sumer Gurkok: 31 years old, Degree in Computer Engineering from the Middle East Technical University of Ankara (Turkey), MS in Computer Engineering from the Middle East Technical University (Turkey), Past activities include, system programmer, System Support Engineer, System Manager. Currently, General Manager Assistant and the project Coordinator of the MDA Corporation Company.
