LEVER will be present at KM Europe 2001
Following last year's success, the LEVER project will participate as an exhibitor
in KM Europe 2001.
KM Europe 2001, the Europe's largest knowledge event, brings under one roof
the leading experts in knowledge management and the top KM providers and practitioners.
This year's event will be held in The Hague, 27-29 November 2001.

Knowledge Management Conference organised by the LEVER project
The LEVER project organises the conference "Knowledge Management for Competitive Advantage in the Digital Economy"
(Athens, 23 October 2001) with the participation of several widely acknowledged experts in the field of Knoweledge Management.
The objective of the Conference is to bring together experts, thought-leaders and corporate practitioners and create a unique community of
practice that will:
- Help professionals address the critical success factors of corporate Knowledge Management
- Facilitate the understanding of the role of ICT as enabling factors for successful KM initiatives
- Contribute to the awareness of the evolutions in state-of-the-art efforts in Knowledge Management at the European level
The conference is organised under the auspices of EISA(the European IT Services Association) and SEPE(the Federation of Hellenic Information
Technology Enterprises) and with the support of the Knowledge Management Initiative.

Several well known KM publications refer to the LEVER project
The Know-Net framework and method, which are the cornerstones of the LEVER trial project, were presented in
several KM publications recently. More specifically:
- The article "An holistic approach to realizing the full value of your knowledge assets" ( Knowledge Management Review,
Vol. 4, Issue 3, pp. 10-11) emphasises the knowledge asset-centric approach of the Know-Net framework.
- The article "Knowledge asset management: Strategy, processes and systems for leveraging corporate knowledge" ( Knowledge Management , Vol.4, Issue 10, pp.31-35;
Wissensmanagement Online, August 2001) gives a brief overview of the Know-Net project,
one of the world's truly holistic and integrated knowledge management solutions.
- The article "Know-Net: A phased approach to Knowledge Management" ( Intelligence In Industry Newsletter, Issue 1, 2001) describes the six phases
proposed by the Know-Net KM method.
LEVER was presented at the Knowledge Management 2001 Conference
Knowledge Associates presented the holistic KM approach of the LEVER project at the Knowledge Management 2001 Conference
(London, April 3-4 2001), the UK's leading KM event.
Ron Young, CEO of Knowledge Associates and chairman of the conference, will give some insights into the knowledge asset-centric approach followed in the LEVER project.
The KM 2001 Conference and Exhibition is expected to attact more than 1500 visitors, predominantly chief knowledge officers and knowledge officers, CEOs and MDs, IT directors and managers, management consultants and senior HR and Intranet managers.
LEVER was presented in CeBIT 2001
Approximately 830.000 visitors were counted during the seven days of the CeBIT 2001
exhibition, which took place in Hannover with the participation of more than 8.000 exhibitors
from more than 60 countries.
SEPE, the Greek Association of IT Companies, had the opportunity to disseminate the LEVER project
through its stand in the exhibition.
Attention marks success for Know-Net's presentation in KMEurope 2000
More than 2500 business visitors from all over Europe swarmed this
year's KMEurope exhibition in Brussels where the Know-Net solution was
represented by a stand, a key note speech and a project presentation.
KMEurope, is the most important Knowledge Management event in the
region, with participants such as Lotus, Microsoft, Siemens, Compaq,
Xerox and OpenText.
PLANET ERNST&YOUNG and Knowledge Associates had the opportunity
to present the first holistic approach at knowledge management to
over 250 top management executives in Key Note and project presentations
by Ron Young and Gregory Mentzas.
Know-Net was presented in KMI Conference 2000
Presentation by Gregory Mentzas of the
Know-Net Approach
at the Knowledge Management Initiative Conference 2000,
(16-17 November, Athens). The scope of the Conference was to provide
useful guidance and information to the experts and the industry as well
as to contribute to the awareness of the potential of
Knowledge Management (KM) in Greece and Southeastern Europe.
