Partners

The LEVER consortium structure consists of:

  • Two solution provider companies, both participants in the Know-Net project, aiming to further adapt and exploit their KM solution:
    • PLANET ERNST&YOUNG, the leading Greek management consultancy company. PLANET ERNST&YOUNG has significant expertise in managing multi-national EU-funded projects and was the co-ordinator of the Know-Net project. In LEVER, PLANET ERNST&YOUNG is seeking to enhance the knowledge management services that it provides to its clients.
    • KNOWLEDGE ASSOCIATES, an international UK-based KM consultancy, have attained a high reputation for Knowledge Management systems and services, e.g. their 'Knowledger' suite achieved the Lotusphere 97 'Best Runner Up' award. KNOWLEDGE ASSOCIATES led the technical development of the Know-Net project.
  • Four user companies, aiming to validate and adapt the KM solution in the software industry:
    • SINGULAR is the leading company in Greece in the areas of designing, developing, implementing, and supporting integrated business software packages
    • ALPHANOVA is a UK-based global developer of Collaborative Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software and solutions.
    • DEBUS, an ERP development and localisation centre based in the Czech Republic, with a special focus on training on software products
    • MDA is a Turkish software development company specializing in DBMS Application Development in different business areas. MDA will be assisted in implementing the LEVER KM solution by the Software Research and Development Center of METU university.
  • One dissemination organisation:
    • SEPE, the Federation of Hellenic Information Technology Enterprises (SEPE) is a non-profit organization, with more than 250 members. SEPE, as member of the World IT Services Alliance (WITSA) and the European I.T. Services Association (EISA) is ideally positioned for a wide-scale dissemination of LEVER's results.
